We provide organisations and individuals with free advice on reducing their transport costs and associated carbon emissions.
Our services are provided through Home Energy Scotland, the free, impartial advice service funded by the Scottish Government. We operate Home Energy Scotland advice centres in South East Scotland and Highlands and Islands on behalf of Energy Saving Trust.
We provide organisations with free Sustainable Business Transport Reviews on request.
A review involves a Business Transport Adviser visiting you at your premises, asking you about your business transport activities, then writing a report, identifying potential cost and environmental savings.
The report will include any financial incentives that are available to encourage more sustainable ways of working, such as grants to help you switch over to electric vehicles, free FuelGood fuel efficient driver training and the interest free, Low-carbon Transport Loan which is funded by Transport Scotland.
We have helped organisations to increase their fleet efficiency by comparing the costs and carbon emissions of different vehicles, promoting cycling and public transport in the workplace and encouraging video conferencing instead of travel.
