CPD teacher training

We provide Continuous Professional Development (CPD) courses so that early years practitioners, primary and secondary school teachers can run their own waste prevention and awareness activities.

The courses usually take place in our offices, after school, during term-time but we are flexible, depending on the number of teachers interested.

Each session is led by a trained Waste Education Officer, includes an interactive workshop and group discussion. On completion you will have:

  • Increased awareness of the concepts of Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and how to apply them
  • Access to high quality waste education teaching resources.
  • Guidance in incorporating the Learning for Sustainability agenda into lessons

Our training is:

Find our forthcoming CPD sessions in Events. We already provide training as part of our support for the City of Edinburgh Council waste programmes, to arrange training in other local authority areas, please get in touch.
