Plan and Connect
In the second stage of your retrofit journey, EcoCosi will help you get everything in place for the work to begin.
The Plan and Connect stage is all about putting everything in place to get your retrofit started.
This includes finalising your retrofit plan and appointing the contractors who will carry out the work.
Your Retrofit Coordinator will go over the whole house plan with you. Once you decide what work you’d like to go ahead with, we’ll create the final plan for your retrofit. We’ll consider your budget, timeline, aspirations, and other personal factors.
Remember – this is all about tailoring your retrofit to you and your home. For example, you may choose to spread out the installation of measures to help manage costs and disruptions.
We’ll always work hard to organise a timeline of installations that works for you.
Financial support
There are a range of home energy efficiency grants and schemes to help you retrofit your property. If needed, we can signpost you to this type of financial support.
Our EcoCosi team keep up to date with government funding and retrofit schemes. We can sign-post you to the relevant available support. We’re also happy to provide advice on the application process.
Appointing contractors
Next, we’ll connect you to our trusted supplier network.
Your appointed Retrofit Coordinator will provide you with a list of the most appropriate contractors for the retrofit measures that you have selected.
All our contractors are pre-vetted. They hold the relevant quality assurance status, have achieved the required certifications, and have the appropriate level of experience to carry out your retrofit. For extra peace of mind, contractors must also follow our contractor code of conduct. We’ve created a legal framework to support your installation, protecting your rights and ensuring the quality of works.
