With winter just around the corner we're spending longer at home and doing more of our daily activities such as shopping and banking online. Changeworks and computer skills charity ACE IT are running a series of free online workshops to help Edinburgh residents stay safe and warm this winter. The sessions aim to support householders worried about being able to heat their homes due to high heating and electricity bills, or being able to find and switch to a cheaper energy supplier safely online.
Having worked together for over two years delivering these workshops in person, we've moved them online to ensure we can still provide support. Our 45-minute workshops cover how to avoid scams, stay safe online and how to reduce heating and electricity bills, with time at the end of each session for attendees to ask questions.
