For this year’s Real Nappy Week (15-21 April) Changeworks is taking part in the Guinness World Record Diaper (Nappy) Change.
The Real Nappy Project was the only project in Scotland to take part in the challenge last year and we contributed to the total of 8,251 babies being changed worldwide.
We are keen to smash this record this year and therefore we would love to hear from you if you would like to take part.
So how do you take part?
- Do you have a baby that is 39 inches (99 cm) tall or less?
- Do you have a 100% reusable and commercially available nappy that you would be happy to change your baby into on the day?
- Are you happy to have your baby and nappy photographed as part of a group for the Guinness photographic documentation that is required?
Where and when?
The event starts at 10am on Saturday 20 April at the Parish Centre of St Mary’s Cathedral (next to Café Camino at the back of John Lewis) Edinburgh, with the record attempt taking place at 11am.
Each baby requires one adult nappy changer so for example if you have twins you will need two adults.
If you would like to take part or require further information please email firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 0131 555 4010 so that we can get an estimate of how many people would like to be involved.
We want to make this event a big success and help encourage more and more families to use real nappies – we need your support!
