As Scotland’s leading environmental charity delivering solutions for low carbon living, Changeworks is partnering with the SFHA (Scottish Federation of Housing Associations) to sponsor its Climate Change and Sustainability Conference, part of the federation’s Housing New, Housing’s Future event series.

Changeworks’ vision is for a world where everyone is able to live, work and enjoy life with a low carbon impact. We work in partnership with others to deliver low carbon heat and power, warm and energy efficient homes, and inspire low carbon behaviours. Changeworks’ approaches are based on over 30 years of delivering practical solutions.

Changeworks will deliver a key session on the day and is part of the conference planning group.

Teresa Bray, Changeworks Chief Executive said: “2021 is a key year on the journey to net-zero. The Scottish Government has now published its Climate Change Action Plan update to support Scotland’s green recovery from the pandemic and help deliver a ‘just transition’ to net zero. The end of the year will see Glasgow host COP26. Housing associations have an important role to play in the journey to net zero, and we have the skills and experience to help them do more. We’re looking forward to discussing climate change, net zero and sustainability with social housing leaders and how we can maximise this opportunity.”
