Leading environmental charity Changeworks is looking for a new director to join the leadership of the organisation at an exciting time.

The Fuel Poverty and Low Carbon Operations Director title clearly states where the focus of the role and activity will be. We are looking for a passionate and experienced individual to lead a step change in our activity to eradicate fuel poverty and support the reduction in carbon emissions.

This means supporting and expanding the work of their Affordable Warmth Services team and the Home Energy Scotland Highlands and Islands and South East advice centres which Changeworks delivers on behalf of Energy Saving Trust, funded by the Scottish Government.

Changeworks Chief Executive Teresa Bray said: “We are very excited to be recruiting for a new member of our leadership team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in Changeworks’ delivery of our goals for partners, individuals and communities across Scotland to tackle the climate emergency, and the scourge of fuel poverty.

“If you’re passionate about taking on the climate emergency and fuel poverty at the same time, and are an experienced leader, this could be the perfect opportunity – and we can’t wait to meet you!”
