Depending on your local authority and eligibilty, there are a number of energy efficiency measures you could have installed at your home.
We have supported thousands of householders across Scotland to install energy efficiency measures such as solar panels, air source heat pumps and different types of wall insulation.
Internal wall insulation
Internal wall insulation is like putting a vest on your home. This is added to the interior of your property.
External wall insulation
External wall insulation is like putting a jumper on your home. A layer of insulation material is fixed to the outer walls, and then covered with render or cladding.
Cavity wall insulation
Most homes built after 1920 have cavity walls. This means there are two layers of wall – the outer and the inner – with a gap between them called the cavity.
Solar panels and battery storage
Solar panels catch the sun’s energy and convert it into electricity. The energy produced during the day is then stored in battery to be used during the evening and night-time.
