The Highlands and Islands region presents specific challenges to achieving net zero targets. These include supply chain, workforce and technical solutions, some of which can be overcome by coordinating action and resources and aligning ambitions. This event looks to create time and space to present challenges and explore solutions around coordinating activity and unlocking progress towards delivering against net zero targets.
The event will bring together representatives from industry, public sector, community and support organisations and academia to make new connections and discuss ways to progress coordinated action in the region. Both Josiah Lockhart (our Chief Executive) and Brian Barker, (Specialist Advice & Technical Manager from Home Energy Scotland Highlands & Islands) will be speaking.
