Investors in People is a UK-based community interest company that helps organisations design and deliver an engaging people management strategy and create a thriving workplace.

The Investors in People Standard is an internationally-recognised framework for measuring and improving employee development, leadership and performance.

Investing in Volunteers

Investing in Volunteers is the UK quality standard for all organisations that involve volunteers in their work. Overseen by the UK Volunteering Forum, the standard helps organisations improve the way they manage and support volunteers.

The Living wage employer. The colours of the logo are green, yellow, blue and orange.

Living Wage Employer

Living Wage Employers are recognised by the Living Wage Foundation for choosing to pay all staff a real Living Wage.

The Living Wage Foundation is a UK campaigning organisation which encourages businesses to pay employees according to the real cost of living, not just the government minimum. 

Cycle Friendly Employer

The nationally-recognised Cycle Friendly Employer Award supports Scottish organisations to encourage cycling as a healthy, sustainable and accessible way to travel to work.

The Award is made by Cycling Scotland, which aims to establish cycling as an acceptable, attractive and practical lifestyle option, including workplace cycling.

 

Carbon Neutral Organisation

Changeworks has a target to become true net zero by 2040. In the meantime, we are focussing on reducing our carbon emissions where we can and investing in fully verified offset projects using the PAS 2060 Carbon Neutrality programme offered by Highland Carbon.

CO2e Assessed Organisation

Changeworks’ carbon footprint is calculated based on the current UK Government guidance and conversion factors for greenhouse gas reporting issued by the Department for Environment Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA).

Our approach has been externally validated by Carbon Footprint Ltd in relation to the ISO 14064-3 standard. The verification activities have shown that Changeworks has met the verification criteria satisfactorily.
