Selina Sagayam

Selina is a corporate finance legal practitioner of over 35+ years’ experience now running her own consultancy practice. Previously a partner in two leading international law firms, she established the UK ESG Practice of Gibson Dunn & Crutcher and co-led its global ESG practice. She has extensive experience in corporate governance and an expertise in sustainability related legal and regulatory issues and has advised a range of organisations, entities and stakeholders in this area.

Her current portfolio includes serving as a Non-Executive director of FTSE250 listed Sequoia Economic Infrastructure Income Fund and chair of their ESG & Stakeholder Engagement Committee. She was appointed as the inaugural chair of the ESG Committee of The Renewables Infrastructure Group where she serves as a non-executive director. She has deep experience and commitment to talent and inclusion and has chaired various groups and networks promoting diversity, talent and inclusion. She serves as Vice Chair of the UK’s largest domestic abuse charity, Refuge.
