Andy King

Andy collates, processes, analyses, and visualises household and property data for local authorities and housing associations to help them assess how best to achieve their decarbonisation goals. He has also developed an interactive and dynamic report for Home Energy Scotland – Highlands & Islands to monitor the impact of their work. He also has experience working on alleviating fuel poverty through the validation of Home Energy Scotland referrals to the Warmer Homes Scotland scheme.  

Before moving into the sustainability sector, Andy spent over seven years in academic research in acoustics and audiology. This equipped him with various skills in data analysis, programming automation, and communicating complex data. 

Andy holds a PhD in Audiology from the University of Manchester, an MSc in Acoustics from the University of Salford, and a BSc in Psychology from the University of Hull.
