Almost three months ago, we closed Changeworks’ offices and moved the majority of our staff to home working. Our incredible staff continue to work hard, delivering as much of our work as possible.

With everyone spending more time at home and many suffering loss of income as a result of COVID-19, more people are likely to be in or at risk of fuel poverty. That’s where our services can really make a difference.

Our experienced advisors are working flat out to respond to enquiries for help and support: helping householders understand their bills, identify potential waste, and can even talk to suppliers on their behalf to help work out a solution.

While COVID-19 presents a clear and present concern, it’s vital that we still do what we can to protect our fragile planet with immediate climate action. We’re in it together, and it’s imperative to protect the long-term health of our planet.

That’s why we’re also busy giving out advice on everything related to energy efficiency, reducing carbon, and cutting fuel bills in any way possible. That work is a major piece of our efforts to take climate action.

Where work is on hold, such as our public engagement projects and renewable technology schemes, our staff are hard at work getting ready to hit the ground running as soon as it’s safe to do so.

And of course our internal support staff are working hard in the background so we can continue deliver at the highest possible level to support our ongoing and future work.

To put it plainly: we’re still here, and we’re still working hard. We’re passionate about climate action, and the work that is required right now can’t be put off – in fact, it’s long overdue.
