We have all the experience you need to design, develop, implement, manage and evaluate business and domestic waste projects.
Our projects are grounded in best practice, meet the needs of our clients and produce measurable behaviour change.
When Zero Waste Scotland wanted to assess the potential of social norms to reduce domestic food waste, we designed and ran the ReNorm project in association with West Lothian Council.
Working with the Council’s Waste Team, we identified five test areas and liaised with designers and printers to produce a series of customised leaflets which the Waste Team delivered to the 2,000 households in those areas, one a week for five weeks. Each update described how many food waste bins had been put out by the local community in the previous week.
Outcomes were measured through a questionnaire, focus group and number of bins put out for collection.
