Dropping litter is an offence in Scotland. Anyone dropping litter could receive a Fixed Penalty Notice (FPN) of £80.

Should you spot excessive fly-tipping or litering, you should report this to City of Edinburgh Council via their website.

You can help to reduce litter by signing up for free with local group People Against Litter (PAL):
