Our Affordable Warmth team helps people on low incomes and in vulnerable situations. This year, with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the cost-of-living crisis, we’ve since a 900% increase in the number of people needing support with energy issues.
The report outlines both the role of the Affordable Warmth Services, as well as the impact of its work. Achievements for the 2020-21 period include:
- 2,270 people supported
- £531,100 in financial savings for service users
- 4 tonnes of carbon saved
Alongside the statistics and figures, the report highlights the tangible impacts for individual service users. The advice and advocacy the Affordable Warmth team offers can make a huge improvement to the livelihoods of those in extreme fuel poverty.
