HELP (Home Expenses: Lessening the Pinch) provides in-depth, one-to-one energy efficiency advice to tenants and home owners who are in or at risk of fuel poverty. The Scottish Borders HELP service is delivered in partnership with Scottish Borders Housing Association. It offers residents energy saving advice through home visits, telephone advice and advocacy, workshops and events. The project also includes Kitchen Canny workshops to help people manage their food bills by cutting down on waste.
The service is funded by the Scottish Government's People and Communities Fund.
