Case Study: ‘Finish Your Food’ Waste Education Initiative
One third of food is wasted when it could be reduced, reused and recycled. This unique and innovative food waste initiative engages primary school pupils and their parents by encouraging everyone to reduce food waste. The initiative is in use across Scotland and on average reduces the primary school’s food waste by 30% but there are many examples of schools that have exceeded the average. Download our Finish Your Food Sales Sheet for statistics, testimonials and more information on this exciting project and the resources you need to reduce food waste in school.

Our Clients
East Renfrewshire Council successfully delivered Finish Your Food to all of their primary schools, and reduced food waste in their schools, with our training and resource support.
We recently worked with Dorset County Council to train staff to engage twenty schools in Dorset on the same project, as well as with climate challenge funded community groups in Scotland.
