REAL NAPPIES
The Real Nappy Project encourages parents in Edinburgh, East Lothian, Midlothian and West Lothian to use real nappies as an alternative to disposable nappies.
Why Real Nappies?
Real nappies ensure your baby stays comfortable and dry. They are made from a variety of natural and man made materials, come in an assortment of colours and are also available in slim fitting or the more traditional, well padded nappies - great for when your toddler is learning to walk.
The days of terry towelling squares and safety pins are long gone - real nappies are soft and fleecy with velcro and poppers. They also ensure human waste is disposed off down the toilet, a system designed especially to treat it, unlike a landfill site.
