You can use a wide range of materials - from the conventional, such as pebbles, bark chippings, grass clippings and leaf mould - to the decorative, such as pine cones, marbles, small bits of broken crockery, bits of polystyrene packaging - use your imagination!

Changeworks’ Waste Education Service for Schools offers FREE talks and workshops that really make a difference for nurseries and primary and secondary schools in Edinburgh.

Our practical educational interventions reduce school waste and help your school achieve Eco School award status. What’s more, all our activities are Curriculum for Excellence linked and run by education professionals.
