This free training event is run by the Community Liaison and Partnership team from Home Energy Scotland. This training will empower organisations to support their clients more effectively, make them healthier and more comfortable in their homes. The sessions, delivered by experienced trainers, are fun and interactive with opportunities for discussion and networking. A free lunch will be provided.
Who should attend?
The training is for frontline staff working with households vulnerable to fuel poverty i.e. families with children under 16, older people, disabled, single occupancy households, pregnant women and households in rural areas.
What will you learn?
By the end of the session you will be able to:
- Identify the signs and understand the impact of fuel poverty
- Understand Home Energy Scotland’s services including funding support
- Have confidence to refer service users to Home Energy Scotland
