Recipes for Leftovers
This weekend we tried pasties, a recommendation from one of last week's group members. They were fantastic!
A packet of ready rolled frozen puff pastry cut into 6 squares (ish), each needed a spoonful of filling, was folded over into a triangle, pinched around the edge and spent 25 mins in the oven.
We tried using up:
a couple of mushrooms, fried in butter and spooned in there with a slice of cheese.
a "nugget" of frozen spinach, a slice of cheese and sprinkle of pinenuts
the end of a pot of lentil soup, cooked down a bit to boil off the liquid
