WASTE PREVENTION FOR HEALTH PROFESSIONALS
As Health Professionals you can help parents understand the choices they can make about the nappies they use
The real nappy project can:
- provide information and advice on modern real nappies
- provide leaflets and information packs about real nappies to give to parents
- arrange real nappy demonstrations as part of ante-natal or post-natal classes
Staffed by parents who use real nappies on their own babies, the project offers practical, up-to-date advice on the many types of modern nappies available, how to use them and where to buy them. In addition, trial packs and lending kits are available to parents at a subsidised cost.
The project operates in Edinburgh, East Lothian, West Lothian and Midlothian. The West Lothian ante-natal service provides real nappy sessions at St John’s hospital on a regular basis. See our Events page for more information.
