An expert speaker from the Energy Saving Scotland advice centre for South East Scotland will be delivering a presentation to the Scottish Retirement Council. The presentation includes free and impartial advice on all aspects of sustainable energy, including energy efficiency, renewable energy and sustainable transport and information about accessing grants and subsidies which are open to all. This is a free event and will provide great opportunities to learn from others’ experience and to meet installers and see renewable equipment demonstrated. After the Social Housing and Energy Forum in the morning, there will be a public exhibition of micro renewable technologies with expert staff from the Energy Saving Scotland advice centre for South East Scotland on hand to provide free and impartial advice on all aspects of sustainable energy, including energy efficiency, renewable energy and sustainable transport. Our expert staff can tailor their advice to your particular lifestyle and circumstances and can help you access grants and subsidies which are open to all. Additional organisations taking part include: Keep Scotland Beautiful; Scottish Community Householder Renewables Initiative; various renewable energy installers; Development Trusts Association Scotland and Linlithgow Climate Challenge. Trial packs will be available at a cost of £12 and lending kits will be on show. These are available to Edinburgh and Lothians residents only. Please bring proof of address.
