Tip of the day

Got a dirty mug on your desk? Need to get rid of that apple core but don’t have time to go to the kitchen? Considering putting the apple core in the bin when nobody’s looking? DON’T!! Use a dirty mug to store compostable material on your desk until your next kitchen trip when you can empty and wash it.

green deal events

Changeworks and the Scottish Government recently held five events for community organisations on the UK Government's Green Deal scheme.

Changeworks delivered five Green Deal events with support from the Scottish Government in Edinburgh, Inverness, Orkney, Shetland and Stornoway. Additional delegates across Scotland joined in via a live webinar from the Inverness event.

Speakers from Department for Energy and Climate Change (DECC), the Scottish Government and Changeworks presented on the Green Deal, Energy Company Obligation (ECO), the Scottish perspective and community perspective.

All the events were lively, with plenty of questions and constructive discussions. We are currently compiling a report summarising the events, along with answers to the questions raised at the events and through the webinar.

In the meantime you can download the presentations:
